Author Jewelry — Unique pieces

Every Author Jewelry piece exists as a single specimen in the world. Each one is conceived and made individually by the artist: once sold, it is never reproduced — not even on request. Whoever acquires it carries something that will never belong to anyone else.

Bodyfurnitures does not accept commissions to replicate pieces already sold in the Author Jewelry section. To purchase one is to make a wearable work of art your own — unrepeatable in its form, its materials and its history.

Collections — Limited editions

The pieces in the Collections section are produced in a limited number of specimens. The entirely handcrafted process may result in minor variations from one piece to another: small marks of a procedure carried out by hand, piece by piece. At present it is possible to order one item at a time, unless a different arrangement is reached directly with the artist.

Jewelry Care

Bodyfurnitures jewelry is crafted from precious and delicate materials — paper, papier-mâché, gold leaf, pearls and gemstones. A few simple precautions are all it takes to preserve each piece over time.

• Keep your jewelry in its original packaging, away from scratches and impacts.
• Avoid contact with water, liquids, perfumes, hairspray and cosmetics: they can damage the enamel, dull the gemstones and affect the gold leaf.
• Do not wear your jewelry in the shower, swimming pool, gym or any humid environment.
• Protect it from sudden temperature changes and extreme cold: papier-mâché is sensitive to climatic variation.
• To clean, use a soft, clean and dry brush.

The natural wear of the gold leaf and the oxidation of certain elements are not defects: they are part of the creative process of each piece.

Materials

Each piece of jewelry is accompanied by a detailed description, the artist’s original drawing and a complete list of the materials used. Below is a guide to the materials with Italian and English translations.

Payments

We accept the following payment methods:

• Bank transfer

Depending on your location and profile, the site may also offer express checkout options such as Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal Pay Later and Klarna.

Payment is processed at the time of order confirmation. For bank transfers, the order is initiated upon receipt of payment. You will always receive a summary confirmation e-mail. All transactions are secured with industry-standard encryption protocols.

Shipping and Delivery

Where we ship

Bodyfurnitures ships to the countries listed below. Before purchasing, please verify that your destination country is included — we update the list periodically.

Preparation and tracking

Available products are prepared and handed to the carrier within 24 working hours of order confirmation (or of payment receipt, for bank transfers). Italian public holidays and non-working days are not included in this timeframe.

As soon as your parcel is dispatched, you will receive an e-mail with a tracking number so you can follow your delivery in real time.

Estimated delivery times

Times are calculated from the date of dispatch.

Duties and taxes

No additional duties apply to shipments within Italy and the European Union.

For shipments outside the EU, customs duties and import taxes may be charged by the destination country’s authorities. These costs are the responsibility of the Customer, regardless of their amount, and are not included in the prices shown on the site or in the shipping fees. Returns

The right piece of jewelry leaves no room for doubt. If something does not quite match what you had in mind, we are here — no complications.
We extend the right of return to all our customers — including those outside the EU — within 14 days of the date of receipt. The product must be returned in the same condition in which it was received: intact, unworn and in its original packaging.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer. For shipments outside the EU, any customs duties incurred on the outbound and return journey are also the Customer’s responsibility.

How to proceed

1. Contact us via the contact form or by e-mail within 14 days of receipt, stating your order number and the reason for the return.
2. We will reply within 1–2 working days with full return instructions.
3. Pack the item carefully in its original packaging and ship it to the address we provide.
4. As soon as the parcel is received and inspected, we will process the refund to your original payment method within 5–7 working days.

Bodyfurnitures reserves the right to refuse a return or reduce the refund if the product shows damage attributable to improper use by the Customer. For full details please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
